All good things always come in threes. Third article for Biobide during this 2018 has been published this month, second one in collaboration with United States’ National Institute of Health and Environmental Sciences (NIEHS) Department of the National Toxicology Program (NTP).
The American College of Toxicology is an international body of research and regulatory scientists dedicated to a safer global community, gathering large numbers of scientists from United States and other countries every year. The program of this year’s meeting was designed to provide excellent quality scientific content that is applicable to the practice of toxicology.
It’s the second co-authored Biobide’s article that was published this month and this time it’s in Oxford Academic’s Toxicological Sciences Journal. Although research has been mainly developed by the scientists of the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research, some of the experiments described were performed in Biobide and Sanofi.
We are very happy to announce that our collaborative paper with United States’ National Institute of Health and Environmental Sciences (NIEHS) Department of the National Toxicology Program has finally been accepted to the Neurotoxicology and Teratology Journal and is freely accessible to the scientific community.
Such a great addition to Biobide’s team – Ph.D., MD Calum MacRae of Brigham & Women’s Hospital has taken the role of Biobide’s Scientific Advisor on June 10th, 2018.
This year EUROTOX welcomed scientists with “Toxicology Out of the Box” theme, focusing on offering a really innovative, forward-looking and imaginative scientific programme. And indeed, the event covered a wide range of topics – from ecotoxicity, developmental toxicology & biomarkers to the use of toxicology for repurposing old drugs, big data & the use of novel software in toxicology.
Naturally, Biobide didn’t go unprepared to EUROTOX 2018 – we gave an oral presentation, presented a poster and welcomed the interested to our booth.
