Andrea Weiner

Dr. Weiner has a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and a MSc. in Biotechnology Business. She has over 18 years of experience working with zebrafish in different fields. During her Ph.D. in Biological Sciences –from the National University of Rosario, Argentina- she specialized in diseases related to the Neural Crest, particularly in neural, craniofacial and pigment cell development. Dr. Weiner has mastered a wide range of cellular and molecular biology techniques and has been working for some years in Molecular and Cellular Biology Institute of Rosario (IBR-CONICET, Argentina). She became a Study Director in Biobide in 2021 being in charge of neurotoxicity and developmental toxicity studies.
