Beatriz Molina

Dr. Molina is preclinical Study Director of the CNS group at Biobide - Spain. She was certified in 2015 from the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen with a master's in Molecular Medicine, specialized in diseases related to the nervous system. She carried out projects in diverse laboratories studying degenerative disorders and epilepsies from molecular and cellular perspectives. Thereafter in 2020, she graduated with a Ph.D. in Neuroscience at the Natural and Medical Sciences Institute (NMI). She focused on the fabrication and validation of a novel microphysiological in vitro system to recapitulate brain physiology and perform compound screening. Afterward, she worked as a postdoctoral fellow at CICbiomaGUNE Institute. Dr. Molina has mastered a wide range of engineering and biology techniques to promote alternative methods to animal testing for neurotoxicity and behavior studies.
